Salzburg and the Salzkammergut, birthplace of Mozart and a fabulous destination to spend a week combining city sightseeing with fun in the countryside.

In Salzburg we recommend:

  • Visiting Mozart’s Birthplace
  • Exploring the Mirabell Gardens, Hellbrunn Palace and trick fountains
  • Touring the film locations from the Sound of Music
  • Spending a day in the lake district (Salzkammergut), walking, climbing or taking a cable car or steam train into the mountains
  • Visiting the Saltmines at Hallein
Vienna is possibly the world’s most musical city with over 15,000 concerts scheduled each year and around 10,000 music fans attending concerts each day! That in itself is a reason to visit Vienna for a concert tour so that you say you have performed in Vienna and to experience some of the live music for yourself.

In Vienna we recommend:

  • Visiting the Schonnbrunn Palace
  • Having fun at the Prater amusement park
  • Learning more about classical music at the Musical instrument Museum
  • Taking a day trip to Bratislava, Slovakia which is only an hour away
  • Escaping the city for one of the quieter spa towns
  • Experiencing a live concert in the world’s most musical city
