Brecon Canal (c) Visit Britain Adam Burton

To the west of England lies proud Wales with as strong a choral tradition, and culture as you’ll find anywhere in the Bristish Isles. The cities of Cardiff and Swansea are cosmopolitan modern cities on the south coast of Wales with good ferry links across to Ireland should your groups wish to continue their tour to the Emerald Isle.

In Wales we recommend:

  • Visiting the smallest city in the UK on the far west coast, 12th century, St David’s Cathedral, a place of medieval
  • Hiking in the Brecon Beacons mountain range
  • Climbing or taking the train to the top of Mount Snowdon – the highest mountain in Wales at 1,085 metres.
  • Enjoying the beautiful beaches on the Pembrokeshire coast and national park
