Visitors to Poland are mesmerised by the wonderful old towns, dramatic mountain scenery and diverse culture. Poland is extremely proud of its musical heritage and visiting musicians are always made welcome.
Chopin was born in Warsaw. You can visit the Chopin museum in the city.
Other Polish composers of note are Wieniawski, Szymanowski, Lutoslawski, and Penderecki
Our trip was a great success and the pupils all had a terrific time. The concerts were well received and we enjoyed all our performances immensely - the churches in particular were very special venues. The whole trip offered a very rewarding combination of musical performance and cross-curricular educational engagement, whilst at the same time providing a recreational element that balanced the trip nicely.
