Getting Started
1. Select a "Group Leader"
This is someone within your group who will be the key communicator with OneStage.2. Have the following information to hand
3. Select a destination
If you're not sure about where you would like to go, then we would encourage you to browse through our website for ideas and/or telephone OneStage for a consultation. You should think about the aspects of the tour most important to you. Perhaps there is a particular venue you would like to perform in, or you want to stay near a lake or beach, or visit a particular attraction (eg, a theme park or museum). We recommend that you present a choice of no more than three destinations to your group.4. Contact OneStage
As soon as OneStage have received information about your group (see 2.) and discussed your requirements with you by telephone or in a meeting, then we will be able to prepare proposal(s) for your selected destination(s). You will receive these from us in the post, along with a Booking Contract, Booking Conditions, Payment Schedule and lots of helpful advice for the Group Leader and Musical Director, to assist with planning your tour.5. Recruit tour participants
Once you have received your proposal(s), you can present these to your group. If you would like, it's usually possible for a representative of OneStage to be present at your meeting in order to answer questions and provide promotional material for each destination. At this stage, you might want us to make adjustments to your proposal(s). For example, you may require additional meals or more included sightseeing; or to have a new per person price based on a different total number of passengers.6. Booking your Tour
Once you are happy with the proposed package, a non-refundable deposit should be collected from each group member to confirm their commitment to you. Then, when you have received enough deposits to make your tour viable, you can book your tour with OneStage. Subject to availability (flights, coaches, hotels etc.), you can continue recruiting and collecting deposits from people after the tour is booked. All Conditions of Booking will be clearly communicated to you before you make your commitment to OneStage.
Inspection Visits...
Some Group Leaders, particularly those in charge of youth groups, find an inspection visit prior to the tour an extremely useful way in which to assess standards, safety aspects and logistics for themselves.
During such visits, (which are usually escorted by a OneStage representative), you can be shown accommodation, restaurants and any possible activities which your group might have booked, or be intending to book. You will also be able to see any concert venues which are already booked, or likely venues to be chosen for your group.
Although OneStage do not charge an organisation fee for arranging inspection visits, there will however be a charge (at cost only) for travel, accommodation and assistance on the ground. If an inspection visit is an essential part of your tour, then we advise you to build the cost into the overall tour price.
